Biography
Catherine Kyakuhaire (she/her) is a MA student at the Women and Gender Studies Institute. Her undergraduate degree at UofT included Women and Gender Studies, and Critical Studies in Equity and Solidarity. Her research interests lie in the intersection of housing issues and single motherhood, homelessness, Black mental health, gender, race and sexuality. Her research will be exploring the experiences of single motherhood and the dilemma of public housing in Ontario Canada.
