WGSI would like to offer our heartfelt congratulations to June Larkin for receiving the 2021 Carol Crealock Memorial Award from the Canadian Association for the Study of Women and Education (CASWE).
This award is given annually to a recipient who has a strong sense of justice and passion for equity; who is collegial, supportive, and a mentor for new scholars; who engages in collaborative work that links with the academy and community; who conducts research that is recognized as transformational in that it can be readily understood and acted upon; and who has initiated collaborative research projects that have had a positive impact on both the academy and the wider community.
June’s remarkable work as an educator and a researcher makes her ideally qualified for this distinguished award. Congratulations to June for being recognized for her outstanding work!
