On January 15, 2017, Huda Hassan was on the Current talking about her amazing initiative reaching out to Black women to help with graduate school applications, as part of a longer conversation about institutional discrimination and anti-black racism. Guests included a graduate student who is part of a Black Student Caucus at York and Malinda Smith talking about the research project on higher education she was part of with Peter Li, Audrey Kobayashi and Ena Dua.
