The WGSI is proud to announce that Robyn Maynard is one of three recipients of the 2025 Governor General’s Gold Medal in recognition of her academic excellence at doctoral level.
Robyn, who recently relaunched her award-winning book Policing Black Lives with two new chapters, defended her dissertation at the WGSI in 2024 and currently holds a graduate appointment at the Institute.
