Biography

Aseja Dava is a PhD student at the Women and Gender Studies Institute. They are a multidisciplinary artist-researcher who mobilizes critical poetics and hybrid-writing to think about the Philippines, memory, queerness, and monstrosity. Their work at WGSI will use methodologies of haunting in order to examine trauma, memory, and resistance among the Filipino diaspora.
