Biography
Kaylee G. Hamilton is a PhD student at the Women and Gender Studies Institute. Born in Trinidad, Kaylee has a deep interest in the way that race shapes personal and group identities. Following the completion of her Bachelors at the University of Toronto in Equity Studies, Kaylee moved on to complete her Masters at the University of Ottawa’s Institute for Feminist and Gender Studies under the supervision of Dr. Mythili Rajiva. At uOttawa, Kaylee’s research centered on Black fatness as an area of study crucial to the condition of Black liberation.
