Vanbasten Noronha De Araújo, WGSI PhD Candidate is one of the recipients of the 2025 TATP TA Teaching Excellence Award

The Women & Gender Studies would like to congratulate PhD Candidate Vanbasten Noronha de Araújo on being one of the recipients of the 2025 TATP Teaching Excellence Award.

This award is presented by the Teaching Assistants’ Training Program to outstanding teaching assistants across the university.

The Teaching Assistants’ Training Program and the Center for Teaching Support & Innovation are very pleased to be able to recognize Van’s hard work and tremendous contributions to undergraduate education at the University of Toronto, University of Toronto at Mississauga, and the University of Toronto Scarborough.  

The University of Toronto acknowledges the work of teaching assistants, and the contributions they make to teaching and learning at this institution. The Teaching Assistants’ Training Program’s (TATP) Teaching Excellence Award was created in 2003 to recognize the outstanding contributions of teaching assistants at the University of Toronto. The award seeks to value the work of TAs who regularly inspire and challenge undergraduate students.
