Congratulations to Cornel Grey, who successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on Black Synesthetics: On Queer Feeling, Real Contact and Black Flesh.
Cornel was supervised by Professor Rinaldo Walcott, with Professors Chris Johnson and Eve Tuck as committee members. The External Examiner was Professor Jeffrey McCune and Professor Robert Diaz served as the internal examiner.
Dr. Grey takes up a post-doctoral appointment at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, where he is currently working on a mixed methods study examining the impact of Covid-19 on gay and bi men, and will continue pursuing work on black queer health.
