Biography

Hannah Chijiwa Morgan (she/her) is a MA student in the Women and Gender Studies Institute at the University of Toronto. Her research interests concern the gendered and racialized aspects of migration, violence and transnational capitalism. She is particularly interested in matters relating to sex work and sex workers, specifically the treatment of racialized & im/migrant sex workers in Canada. Within her work, she hopes to examine how anti-trafficking rhetoric has perpetuated and shaped the criminalization, victimization and policing of sex workers.
