Biography
Mika Castro is an MA student whose research concerns migrant representations in institutions of memory such as in archives and in museums. Their research specifically explores the queer, sexual, and gendered lives of queer Filipinx migrants in Manitoba. They are interested in looking for their stories in museums and in working with them to explore the oral and other unofficial accounts of their experiences.
